Held on the first (virtually) and third (live) Monday of each month!
WTP is a cornerstone of Atlanta’s new work theatre scene.
– Celise Kalke, Synchronicity Theatre Managing Director
MNDW is our core play development program! We highly recommend members take advantage of this program. WTP member playwrights submit their work to be read monthly by members of the WTP Actor’s Ensemble. Feedback is led by a new play dramaturg and moderator trained in the WTP method which include the following rules of engagement.
WTP Rules of Engagement for MNDW
- Raise your hand to speak.
- Snap if you agree.
- Be constructive. Be courteous.
- Avoid using the words “like” and “dislike.”
- Avoid suggestions on how to rewrite the play.
- Speak from I.
- Be mindful of the potential gap between intention and impact.
How to Submit
Calls happen once monthly. There is no selection process for MNDW, so we work through member submissions in the order we receive them. All members are welcome to submit. We encourage you to work your entire play through this foundational program.
